Q: What time can you check-in?
A: Check-in starts at 3:00pm and is available until 11:00pm. If you will be checking in after 7:00pm, we do require you to contact us ahead of time, otherwise there may be a late check-in fee. Unfortunately, check-in is not available after 11pm, so if you plan to arrive outside of those hours, please call us at 787-722-1808.

 

Q: What time is check-out?
A: Check-out is at 12:00pm. We can offer late check-out depending on availability at a charge of $35.00 weekdays and $45.00 weekends. Please inquire at the front desk upon arrival.

 

Q: Do you guarantee the number of beds or bed sizes?
A: We do not guarantee the number of beds or bed sizes at the time of reservation. Reservations are based on 2 person maximum occupancy. Most rooms have only one bed.  However, if you have a specific request, please call us at 787-722-1808 and we will do our best to make it happen for you.

 

Q: What is your cancellation policy?
A: We currently have a 5-day cancellation policy. The first night of your stay is charged as deposit at the time of your reservation. The remaining balance is charged 4 days before arrival. If you cancel after 5 days, you will forfeit your deposit. Please check the cancellation policy related to the rate you purchase as it may differ.

 

Q: Is a deposit required?
A: The first night of your stay is charged as deposit at the time of your reservation. The remaining balance is charged the day of your arrival. Cancel the reservation 5 days prior to arrival and forfeit only the first night’s deposit.

 

Q: Does The Gallery Inn offer parking?
A: We have three parking spots available in front of our hotel at a fee of $40 per night. Overnight. No in-and-out privileges. First come, first serve basis, and unable to be reserved. The parking spots are for small and medium sized cars – so minivans, trucks or SUVs.There are several parking garages available within a few blocks. Only residents of Old San Juan may park on the street without receiving a $250 penalty from the city.

 

Q: Does the hotel have an airport shuttle?
A: Unfortunately, we do not have an airport shuttle. We recommend using a taxi or ride-share platform such as Uber to reach our Inn from the airport.

 

Q: Does the hotel have a pool?
A: Yes, we have an outdoor wading pool.

 

Q: Does the hotel have a restaurant or bar?
A: Yes, the Cannon Club is in our Inn and offers tapas and a full bar to guests of The Gallery Inn and the Cannon Club.

 

Q: Are masks required on property?
A: Yes, we require the use of protective face masks in all areas for those guests show have not been vaccinated. We encourage social distancing of all parties as well. Our team follows strict CDC sanitation protocols.

 

Q: Is the Cannon Club open?
A: Yes the Cannon Club is open to serve delicious tapas and drinks to all guests of The Gallery Inn, members of the Steinway Society and anyone who would like to enjoy a nosh and live music. We are open daily from 5pm – 10pm.

 

Q: Are pets allowed at The Gallery Inn?
A: We only allow small dogs under 5 lbs. They must remain in a kennel during their stay. There is a fee of a $100 deposit plus $40 per night additional. The $100 deposit will be returned upon room inspection and it is determined there is no damage incurred.

 

Q: Does my reservation include breakfast?
A: Breakfast is available a la carte, for an additional charge.

 

Q: Where is The Gallery Inn located?
A: We are located at 204 Calle Norzagaray in Old San Juan. We are a block or two away from several historic and cultural icons, such as the Museum of Art & History and La Perla, and a short walk to the beach and some of Old San Juan’s best bars & restaurants.
